Prudential Center Names Event Security Team Led By Former Head Of FBI, Newark Division

NEWARK, N.J., October 5, 2007 - Devils Arena Entertainment and AEG today announced they have hired Newark-based Gateway Security Inc., as the event security company for the soon-to-be opened Prudential Center in Newark. Overseeing all security operations for the first major sports and entertainment facility to open in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area in more than 25 years is Leslie G. Wiser Jr., the former Special Agent-in-Charge of the Newark Division of the FBI.

Wiser, whose title is Director of Security and Head of Government Relations for Devils Arena Entertainment, oversees all aspects of security at the building. Mr. Wiser's duties include management of 24-hour venue security as well as all related event security operations. In addition, he serves as the facility's security liaison working with Newark Police Chief Garry McCarthy as well as all city, county, state and federal law enforcement and homeland security officials in securing the venue and surrounding area for all event visitors.

Wiser joined the Prudential Center team after nearly 28 years of law enforcement and intelligence experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Navy, most recently as Special Agent-in-Charge of the Newark Division of the FBI, where he was responsible for all FBI investigations, operations and administration. Following nomination by his peers and by the Director of the FBI, President Bush recognized Mr. Wiser's sustained exceptional performance in February, honoring him with the Presidential Rank of Meritorious Executive for 2006.

"I'm confident that we have the team in place to provide a first class experience for all fans and customers," said Wiser. "With our comprehensive training programs, we will have a presence and visibility that will ensure our customers have a safe and enjoyable experience while attending events at Prudential Center."

"Our goal is quite simply for Prudential Center to be able to offer the safest and most customer-friendly experience in the country, and there's no one more capable than Les Wiser to make that happen," said Dale Adams, General Manager of Prudential Center. "We're also proud to have Gateway Security on our team. Gateway, a Newark security staple for over 20 years, is well equipped to provide our visitors with the best possible experience every time they come to Prudential Center."

Gateway Security, Inc. is privately held and delivers premium security and frontline customer relationship services to the region's three major airports, largest healthcare facilities, many Fortune 50 companies and international real estate management companies. The company is known for its superior customer service, expert recruitment, security training and retention of its 4,000 employees.

"We are very proud to have the Prudential Center - the crown jewel of Newark - in our security portfolio. We look forward to delivering superb security services and being a valued business partner." said CEO Kurus Elavia of Gateway Security Inc. "We were founded in Newark in 1979, we have our headquarters here and employ over 1,000 Newark residents - the Prudential Center will be a vital part of the city Gateway Security calls home."

Gateway Security was recognized as the Fastest Growing Urban Company for three consecutive years by Inc. Magazine. In 2004, Gateway Security was named the New Jersey Family Business of the Year by the Rothman Institute Family Business forum at Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Prudential Center will open on October 25, 2007 with Bon Jovi performing the first of 10 concerts. It is the home of the New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall University men's basketball and the New Jersey Ironmen of the MISL. Prudential Center showcases 76 luxury suites, 2,330 club seats, and an array of amenities and conveniences for fans. It will seat 17,500 people for soccer games, 17,625 for hockey games, 18,500 for basketball games and 19,500 for concerts.
