November Show Marks Superstar's Only New York Metro Appearance

Newark, N.J. - Singer/songwriter superstar Michel Telo is infusing the flavor of Brazilian sertaneja music into Newark. Telo will make his Prudential Center debut on Thursday, November 1 at 8 p.m. This show is Telo's only New York Metro area appearance.

The most important Brazilian musician today, he had garnered over 400 million hits on YouTube and has more than one million followers on Twitter, three million fans on Facebook and had the best-selling CD in Brazil last year. Singing since he was 12 years old, Telo was a member of Grupo Guir as well as Grupo Tradicao, a band he led for 12 years.

He broke out on his own for a solo career two years ago; Telo's charisma drove him to the top of the Brazilian hit parades. In 2010, he was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Album of Country Music. Currently ''Ai, Se Eu Te Pego'' is taking the world by storm, leading the iTunes charts in Brazil, iTunes Latin America and in ten European countries. Michel Telo's dedication to music and fame now reach well beyond the borders of Brazil as he embarks on his first international tour.
