The Shadowboxers Join Justin Timberlake's Man In The Woods Tour

New York, NY (February 27, 2018)– Poised to be 2018’s biggest breakout act, American pop band THE SHADOWBOXERS will take their dynamic live show on the road this year as they join their mentor Justin Timberlake for the first leg of his highly-anticipated Man of the Woods Tour as the opening act on 30+ arena dates across the country. Tickets for the tour on sale now and VIP information is coming soon, with packages going on sale March 2. For a full list of the group’s 2018 tour dates and ticketing information, please visit www.theshadowboxers.com. The band is also preparing for the release of their first EP, due out this spring.

“We have been playing live and touring for so many years and we’ve always dreamed of going on a tour like this. We are so excited and feel so confident about our show and the new material that we’ll get to play every night,” the band says. “And to be on the road with one of the greatest performers of all time is such an incredible honor.”

Discovered by Justin Timberlake and signed to his Villa 40 artist development company, The Shadowboxers have been described by Rolling Stone as “a Nashville-by-way-of-Atlanta vocal group that has been making a name for itself,” with an R&B-soaked mix of soul and pop the New York Times hails as “a one-two punch of gorgeous harmonies and instrumentals.” Members Scott Tyler, Matt Lipkins and Adam Hoffman experienced an almost-instantaneous musical compatibility when they first started writing together in college, since forging a cohesive sound based on a shared reverence for the strong, taut harmonies of the Bee Gees, CSN and Earth, Wind & Fire and the rhythmic pop funk of Prince, D'Angelo and Michael Jackson.

Originally creating buzz with their YouTube cover of Timberlake’s “Pusher Love Girl,” the threesome have since garnered over 4 million streams of original material on Spotify and Apple Music to date and growing. Spending time writing in the studio with both Timberlake and Israeli songwriter/producer K-Kov, The Shadowboxers released Apollo EP lead single “HOT DAMN!” in September 2017, and since then have performed on national television shows such as TODAY and The Talk as well as completed a set of national headlining tour dates.
