Inaugural ‘A Racquet at The Rock’ to take Center Court on December 7 at Newark’s Prudential Center

Event to feature Top ATP and WTA Tennis Players Carlos Alcaraz, Frances Tiafoe, Amanda Anisimova, and Emma Raducanu Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) and Unified Events partner to launch first-of-its-kind event Tickets On Sale Wednesday, September 10 via Ticketmaster, Prucenter.com and Prudential Center’s Box Office

Newark, NJ (September 4, 2025) - Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) and Unified Events today announced a marquee tennis event featuring World Number #2 Carlos Alcaraz, #17 Frances Tiafoe, #9 Amanda Anisimova, and #36 Emma Raducanu, entitled ‘A Racquet at The Rock.’ The inaugural event will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. ET, at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will be the first tennis event in the 18 plus year storied history of the building.

The event is currently scheduled to feature two best-of-three matchups with a 10-point tiebreaker for the third set. A marquee matchup between 2025 Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova facing 2021 US Open Champion Emma Raducanu will kick off this entertaining evening, followed by a clash between five-time Major Champion Carlos Alcaraz battling against two-time US Open Semifinalist Frances Tiafoe.

The presale for ‘A Racquet at The Rock’ will begin on Monday, September 8 at 12:00 p.m. ET and will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, September 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Tickets will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com, Prucenter.com, and Prudential Center’s Box Office.

‘A Racquet at The Rock,’ the inaugural unique exhibition celebrating the world's best tennis players will provide fans the opportunity to see their favorite players take the court at New Jersey’s biggest stage, Prudential Center. The event will also pay homage to New Jersey’s own tennis history, with more details being subsequently announced.

Carlos Alcaraz

• Alcaraz has won 22 ATP Tour singles titles, including five major titles: two at the French Open, two at the Wimbledon Championships, and one at the US Open.

• Alcaraz began his professional career in 2018 at age 15. He broke into the top 100 of the rankings in May 2021, and ended that year in the top 35 after reaching the US Open quarterfinals

Frances Tiafoe

• Began playing tennis against a wall at age 3 with twin brother, Franklin.
• Trained as a kid at the Junior Tennis Champions Centre in College Park, MD, USA, where his father served as Head of Maintenance. Occasionally he came to work with his father and spent entire days at tennis center.
• Father, Frances Sr., and mother, Alphina, moved from Sierra Leone to USA in 1996.
• Childhood idol was Juan Martin del Potro, whom he beat in route to 2018 Delray Beach title.
• Recipient of 2020 Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award.
• Ambassador for ThanksUSA and USTA's National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL).

Amanda Anisimova

• She has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 7, achieved on 14 July 2025. Anisimova has won three WTA Tour titles, including a WTA 1000 event at the Qatar Ladies Open.
• Her best performance at the majors is a runner-up finish at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.
• As a junior, Anisimova was ranked as high as No. 2 in the world and won the 2017 US Open girls' singles title.

Emma Raducanu

• Raducanu was the 2021 US Open champion, and the first British woman to win a major in singles, since Virginia Wade at the 1977 Wimbledon Championships.
• With a wildcard entry at 2021 Wimbledon, ranked outside the world's top 300, she reached the fourth round at her first major tournament.
• At the 2021 US Open, she became the first qualifier in the Open era to win a singles major title, beating Leylah Fernandez in the final without dropping a set during the tournament.
