Entering his fourth season at his alma mater, head coach Shaheen Holloway is ready for a resurgent 2025-26 season. The Pirates boast an exciting roster featuring 10 new faces from the transfer portal, five of whom have previous power conference experience. Four transfers arrive in South Orange coming off double-digit scoring seasons, highlighted by Merrimack transfer Adam "Budd" Clark, who finished 23rd in the nation in scoring with 19.8 points per game. The Hall also welcomes in AJ Staton-McCray from Miami, who along with Clark gives the Pirates a pair of 1,000-point scorers. Elijah Fisher, a transfer from Pacific by way of DePaul, will also factor into the Pirates' backcourt, bringing past BIG EAST experience to the table. Add in the recent signing of consensus four-star center Najai Hines, and the new-look Pirates are well equipped to produce plenty of excitement this season.
