AboutThe New Jersey Devils will host the 2026 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) Girls and Boys Ice Hockey Championships presented by RWJBarnabas Health on Monday, March 9 with four state championship games being played on Prudential Center’s Main Ice beginning at 1pm.
The 2026 championships mark a historic milestone, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the first New Jersey State High School Ice Hockey Championship, and represent the 28th year of the National Hockey League club’s involvement with the event. Event Timing (times subject to change):
1:00pm – Girls Championship
3:15pm – Boys Public Championship
5:30pm – Boys Non-Public Championship
7:45pm– Boys Public Co-Op Championship
The Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau Most Valuable Player Award, established last year, will once again be presented following each state final to honor their lasting legacy and impact on New Jersey hockey.
