The Boston Bruins are a large part of the league's storied history dating all the way back to 1924. Still, the New Jersey Devils hold a dominant playoff record against this Original Six team, winning 15 of their 23 postseason matchups, including series wins in 1995 and 2003 on their way to two Stanley Cup Championships.
The 2024-25 season included three matchups between the Devils and Bruins. Their first contest was a landslide Devils win, with a 5-1 final score. The Devils hosted the Bruins again on April 8, falling to Boston 7-2. The team traveled to Boston for their final matchup of the season on April 15, defeating the Bruins in overtime.
New Jersey faces Boston three times during their 2025-26 regular season series. The Devils visit the Bruins on December 6 and then host Boston at the Prudential Center on March 16. In April, the Devils travel to the Bruins once more for their season finale.
