These two squads played each other twice in the 2024-25 season. The Devils swept the Blackhawks in both games. The Devils defeated the Blackhawks on December 14 in a 4-1 victory. The Blackhawks hosted the Devils on March 26, resulting in another Devils victory.
The Devils and Blackhawks have a one more game on schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Blackhawks hosted the first matchup on November 12, resulting in a 4-3 overtime win for the Devils. On March 29, the Devils host the Blackhawks at Prudential Center.
