Many of the Devils wins against the Jets can be attributed to the work of the team's all-time leading scorer, Patrik Elias, who recorded 20 of his career 408 goals against the Western Conference team, dating back to his rookie season in 1999 when they were still known as the Atlanta Thrashers.
The Devils and Jets played each other twice during the 2024-25 season. Their first matchup was at Prudential Center on March 7, with the Jets coming out on top. The Devils traveled to Winnipeg for their March 28 game, losing in a 4-0 shutout.
In the 2025-26 season, New Jersey plays Winnipeg two times. The Devils head off to Canada to face the Jets on January 11. Two weeks later, the Devils compete against the Jets on home ice at Prudential.
