NEW JERSEY DEVILS
New Jersey's Home Team and the Florida Panthers have faced off in the postseason twice, with the Devils taking both series on their way to Eastern Conference titles. In the first round of the 2000 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Devils were dominant, sweeping their opponent before going on to win their second of three league championships. In 2012, the Panthers took the series to seven games before falling in the final matchup thanks to a pair of goals from Adam Henrique and one from Stephen Gionta.
In their 2022-23 matchups, the Devils won 1 of the 3 regular season games. In their December 21 game in South Florida, the Devils managed to come back from a 2-1 deficit, winning 4-2 in regulation. Their last face off of the season resulted in a 4-2 loss, but Nico Hischier started the game with a shorthanded goal. Stay tuned as both the Devils and Panthers face off in their respective divisions in the playoffs.
