Since the Minnesota Wild started competing in the NHL in 2000, they have played the New Jersey Devils 33 times. In those matchups, the Devils have the advantage, winning over 17 games.
The Devils continued their historic dominance over the Wild into the 2024-25 season. The two clubs matched up twice during the regular season in back-to-back matchups on March 29 and 31. The Devils took both wins over the Wild, one on the road and a shoot out win at home. In the March 29 game, Nico Hischier notched the second hat trick of his career.
The Devils play Minnesota twice during the 2025-26 regular season. The series begins at the Prudential Center on October 22. Then the Devils travel to Saint Paul in January to face the Wild on the road.
