Devils vs. Flyers

With only 90 miles separating these two Metropolitan Division rivals, the Devils and Flyers have a storied history. Sometimes referred to as the Battle of the Jersey Turnpike, the Devils and Flyers have faced off on more than 250 occasions in the NHL.

In the 2022-23 season, the Devils and Flyers faced each other in four games, with the series split at two wins each.

In their 2023-24 season series, the Devils and Flyers each took two wins each again. The Devils took down the Flyers in Philadelphia on November 30, with Luke Hughes' game winning goal in overtime. The Flyers rallied back on December 19, winning in overtime. On February 17, the Devils and Flyers faced off outdoors in the 2024 Stadium Series at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, with the Devils winning 6-3. The Flyers came back to defeat the Devils in a 1-0 victory on April 13 to wrap up their season series.

These Atlantic Division rivals face off four times during the 2024-25 season. Their first matchup is at Prudential Center on January 18. The Devils and Flyers meet two more times in January, on the 27th in Philadelphia, and then again two days later Prudential on the 29th. Their final matchup of the regular season is on the road on March 9.
