Through more than 100 regular season games against the Tampa Bay Lightning in their history, the Devils have over 60 wins against their Eastern Conference rival. In addition, the Devils have two series wins in the three postseason matchups between the teams, one of which came in 2003 en route to New Jersey's second Stanley Cup title.
In the 2023-24 season, the Devils and Lightning squared up in three contests, with Tampa Bay winning the season series.
Looking ahead at the 2024-25 season, the Devils and Lightning face off for the first time on October 22 in Newark. Their second matchup on November 16 is on the road in Tampa Bay.
