Newark, NJ (Oct. 4, 2025) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s (BKFC) King and Queen of Violence were crowned Saturday night by sports icon Conor McGregor as The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion made its historic New Jersey premiere with BKFC 82 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ and broadcast globally on DAZN.
In Saturday’s Main Event, the undefeated “Platinum” Mike Perry defended his BKFC King of Violence Championship with a dominant showing over previously undefeated challenger Jeremy “Lil Heathen” Stephens. Perry logged six knockdowns — including three in the fifth round — thereby forcing the stoppage with 25 seconds left in the fight.
The Orlando, FL product Perry is now 6-0 on the strength of four straight finishes in the Squared Circle.
“It is fitting that I’m the King of Violence. It makes sense. I can take it; it’s nothing to me except just a little candy, and I’ll munch on it all day long,” Perry said in his post-fight interview. “I’m grateful for the opportunity. Thank you very much to Mr. Feldman and to Conor for his promotion.”
Perry and McGregor appeared to bury the hatchet on their longstanding feud in the aftermath of Perry’s victory.
“That was an incredible representation of bare knuckle fighting, ladies and gentlemen,” McGregor said while sharing the spotlight with Perry, adding, “I have respect for you, and I’d love to (fight) you one day for sure. Congratulations to you, your team and your family. I’ve got a lot of respect for who you are and what you’re about.”
In Saturday’s Co-Main Event, undisputed BKFC Women’s Flyweight World Champion Christine “Misfit” Ferea cemented her legacy as the most accomplished female fighter to ever step into the BKFC Squared Circle by stopping the previously unbeaten BKFC Women’s World Featherweight Champion Jessica “The Black Widow” Borga in their clash for the inaugural BKFC Queen of Violence Championship.
Ferea and Borga exchanged knockdowns in the opening frame of their historic matchup. The Las Vegas fighter Ferea picked herself up off the canvas and rallied for the knockout 26 seconds into the fourth round. She is now 11-1 on the strength of nine straight victories — the longest winning streak that a female fighter has ever enjoyed with BKFC. Ferea is also first all time amongst female fighters for victories (11) and finishes (eight).
“This is the best feeling in the (expletive) world,” Ferea said in her post-fight interview. “Thank you, David Feldman, and thank you, Conor McGregor, for coming in here and blowing this sport up even more.”
Borga, who represents Lakeland, FL, is now 3-1 in her BKFC career.
Below are highlights from BKFC Founder/President David Feldman’s post-fight press conference.
On BKFC's premiere in New Jersey: “If you’re not excited about that, you don’t have a pulse. We had 10,044 people in the building tonight. It’s a little bit less than we wanted to do, but it was still a very great crowd. I think we showed New Jersey, the Athletic Commission and fans around here that BKFC is the new (expletive) in town. This is the most exciting combat sport in the world, and I truly believe it’s the most exciting thing out there. I’m very, very happy with how things turned out tonight.”
On BKFC's future in New Jersey: "I predict we'll do one show in Newark and one show in Atlantic City every year."
On BKFC's gowth: "I think I'm different than anyone else in combat sports because this is my child. I truly raised this child. This thing is really blossoming and blooming into something I never imagined it would be. We're in the Top 3, Top 2 in combat sports right now. With the right partners, we'll be the No. 1 show in the world."

He also announced that Austin “No Doubt” Trout will take on Luis “Baboon” Palomino in a hugely anticipated rematch of former BKFC World Welterweight Champions in the semifinal round of BKFC’s Lightweight Championship Tournament in the Main Event of BKFC 86 on Dec. 5 in Hollywood, FL.
Former BKFC World Featherweight Championship challenger Jimmie “El Terror” Rivera returned to the win column with a third-round stoppage over Timmy Mason in Saturday’s Feature Fight. Rivera had to pick himself up off the canvas and drop Mason three times before their bout was halted 29 seconds into the third round. Mason, who hails from Helena, MT, is now 3-3.
Rivera, who serves as a police officer in New York City, appeared to announce his retirement from combat sports in his post-fight interview — with the only exception being a matchup with fellow combat sports legend Frankie “The Answer” Edgar, who had to withdraw from their fight earlier this week.
“This will be my last fight. There’s only one fight that matters right now, there’s only one fight that will bring me out of retirement. Frankie and I have a lot of history, and I really want that fight. Out of love and respect, maybe we can do it for the fans.”
Former MMA standout Oluwale “The Holy War Angel” Bamgbose impressed BKFC fans debut as he stopped Karl Roberson in their cruiserweight matchup of former UFC fighters. Bamgbose picked himself up off the canvas and logged three knockdowns in his hotly anticipated premiere, leading to the stoppage 58 seconds into Round 2. Bamgbose represents New York City and Nigeria. Roberson hails from Freehold, NJ.
On just one week’s notice, Elmira, NY’s Quentin “QG” Gaskins sent Phil “The Hitman” Caracappa to the canvas three times en route to the technical knockout stoppage in the opening round of their featherweight bout. The fight was stopped with seven seconds left in the first round. Gaskins is now 2-1, with both of his wins coming by first-round finish. Representing Freehold, NJ, Caracappa is now 1-1.
Atlantic City, NJ’s Jeff Lentz floored Elijah “The Buffalo Soldier” Harris three times in the opening round of their lightweight clash, paving the way to a doctor stoppage after two minutes of fighting. Previously a high-level MMA fighter, Lentz is now 1-0 with BKFC, while the previously unbeaten Shippenburg, PA product Harris now 2-1.
Ramsey, NJ lightweight Mike “The Lone Wolf” Trizano needed just 20 seconds to knock out JC “Corazon” Deleon. Trizano, a seven-time UFC veteran, is now 2-0 with back-to-back, first-round knockouts. Deleon, who represents Fort Worth, TX, was 2-0 with a pair of stoppage victories entering fight night.
Middle Island, NY heavyweight Pat Carroll smashed his way to 2-0 with a second-round stoppage over Aleem “The Hammer” Whitfield. Carroll logged a pair of knockdowns to the finish 25 seconds into the second stanza. Both of his victories have come by stoppage. Whitfield, who represents Geneva, NY, was making his BKFC debut after racking up a 9-1 record as a professional gloved boxer.
In a fight that featured the first double knockdown in BKFC history, Jmani Oliver of Freehold, NJ was victorious in his BKFC debut, knocking down Irakli Ghvinjilia four times en route to a unanimous decision in their lightweight battle. Although Oliver had to pick himself up off the canvas twice, all three judges scored the fight in his favor (48-45, 48-44, 47-45). The Georgian-born Brooklyn, NY fighter Ghvinjilia was also making his BKFC debut.
Long Branch, NJ’s Justin Clarke turned heads in his BKFC premiere, sending Ishiah “The Hill Country Strangler” Carson to the canvas twice in their five-round featherweight matchup. All three judges agreed on the 50-43 verdict for Clarke. Carson, who hails from Marble Falls, TX, is now 1-3 in his BKFC career.
