The first matchup between the Devils and Canucks during the 2023-24 season resulted in a Devils win and a game winning goal from Jesper Bratt. Jack and Luke Hughes faced off against their older brother, Quinn Hughes, captain of the Canucks, in their first NHL battle between all three brothers. The battle of the Hughes brothers continued on January 6, 2024 in Newark, with the Devils falling to the Canucks 6-4.
With the 2024-25 season upon us, Jack & Luke Hughes prepare for another two games against their older brother, Quinn. The Devils travel to Vancouver for their first matchup of the regular season on October 30, 2024. Their second and last matchup of this season is in Newark on March 24.
