In 1974, the Kansas City Scouts hockey club began in Missouri, later moving to Denver in 1976 and becoming the Colorado Rockies. In 1982, they relocated for a third time to East Rutherford, New Jersey where the New Jersey Devils were born. Now playing out of Newark in the Prudential Center, the Devils are a storied NHL franchise. In their 40+ years in New Jersey, the Devils have claimed 3 Stanley Cups, 5 Conference Championships and 9 Division Championships.
Fast forward to today, and the Devils are an Eastern Conference leader, clinching 2nd place in the Metropolitan Division in the 2022-23 NHL season. The Devils have built a powerful offensive line with Nico Hischier, Jack Hughes, Timo Meier and so many more talented players. With veterans Dougie Hamilton and Jonas Siegenthaler minding the defense, and Vitek Vanecek in goal, this star-studded Devils team is a force to be reckoned with.
